A trip to visit daughter Joanna in Sydney and sister Jan and her family in Brisbane is far overdue so we are going for Christmas.
First, we have a week in Sydney with Joanna, with plans to catch up with Chris’s niece Katie and my cousin Tim and his family as well as doing some last minute Christmas shopping.
Then we all drive to Brisbane, along the Pacific Highway, breaking the journey in Coffs Harbour.
It will be our first visit to Brisbane and we are looking forward to seeing Jan, John, Jack and Jade in their new home and exploring the city. After New Year we head back to Sydney, taking several days to visit a couple of National Parks and do some walking. Joanna returns to work, so we are off to Canberra for a couple of days to visit Chris’s friend Paige before a final weekend in Sydney.
